Mexican Sangria

I have previously posted my Non-Alcoholic Sangria, but this is the full shebang naughty version.

This is one of those cocktails that is an absolute must at any summer party! Served cold and full of fresh fruit Sangria is a flirty cocktail that is full of fun and very easy to make provided you have a couple of oranges and lemons, some old red wine and a bottle of tequila lying around – which most of us do!

What Will I Need?

2 cups Red Wine
½ cup Tequila
1 Orange, sliced
1 Lemon, sliced
2 cups Soda Water
¼ cup Sugar
Ice, to serve

What Now?

1.         Add your fruit slices and sugar to the bottom of a jug.

2.         Now top the fruit and sugar with the wine and tequila and stir until the sugar has dissolved.

3.         Finally, add your soda water and then pop into the fridge until chilled.

4.         Serve in large wine goblets, or tall glasses, garnished with fruit and full of ice to keep it extra cool.
