Honey Mustard Pork Chops

Today was one of those lazy days where after Mister Kitchen and I went for our early morning walk, we spent the rest of the day casually relaxing around the house, doing the odd chore or two.

Not wanting to create a chore out of dinner, I decided pork chops, some pasta and a salad would be the best option and then casually spent half an hour in the kitchen whipping up something relatively simple that reflected our day as well as the weather outside – it’s a beautiful sunny day, so we weren’t wanting anything heavy at all and these pork chops fitted the bill perfectly.

On a side note, last night out of laziness we tried one of the Chocolate Mousse packet mixes you can buy where you simply add milk, whip it all together, and voila – mousse. Except it wasn’t mousse. It was some monstrosity of nature that should never have been created. So, if you are in the mood for mousse but not feeling the incentive enough to make your own, I highly recommend buying from the refrigerator section pre-made mousse, as opposed to any powder with naughty claims.

What Will I Need?

4 Pork Chops
2 tbs Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbs Wholegrain Mustard
1 tbs Honey

What Now?

1.             Well, this is a marinade of sorts so get out your marinading dish or bag and pop the Worcestershire sauce, mustard and honey and give it a little mix, before adding the pork chops.

2.             Allow to sit for about half an hour whilst you make a salad, or some corn on the cob to have on the side.

3.             Heat about a tablespoon of oil in a fry pan, or alternative cook this on a grill or bbq, over a medium high heat and then add the pork chops, cooking them on each side for about 4-5 minutes or until cooked to your preference.

4.             Serve with the salad you made in step 2!
