Balsamic Dressing

For me, a salad without dressing is no salad at all. Whether it’s the White Wine Vinegar in a Greek Salad, or the rich anchovy dressing of a Caesar salad, I find it one of life’s essentials and never make a salad without some kind of accompaniment. Ignoring the dressing would be like wearing a beautiful summer dress with no shoes, and as anyone who knows me know I love shoes.

One of the most basic salad dressings is Balsamic Dressing which takes very little time or effort and has only three simple ingredients: Balsamic Vinegar, Olive Oil, and Garlic.


What will I need?
glass jar with a lid
2 parts balsamic vinegar
1 part extra virgin olive oil
1 clove garlic, roughly chopped

What now?

1.     Add Vinegar, Oil, and Garlic to the glass jar.

2.     Pop on the lid, shake for about five seconds and then let sit for at least an hour.

3.     Remove the garlic and replace the lid.

4.     Give a final shake before drizzling over your favourite salad
